Carl Quindel was born and raised on 41st and Wright in the Sherman Park neighborhood and is a graduate of Riverside University High School. He was the Executive Director of Acts Housing from 2006 through early 2015, when he joined Strong Blocks as its Manager. Prior to his role at Acts he was a roofer, mason, carpenter, and laborer. Over the past decade he has assisted more than 950 families to become homeowners and helped manage more than 650 renovations. He currently lives in the Harambee neighborhood with his wife and 3 daughters.
